My son had a flat head on the left side of his head. This pillow actually helped it start to correct itself! It's curved just enough to cradle their head. It's thin foam which is nice because I am able to use it while he's in his swing or bouncy seat. It didn't make his head sweaty either. Some foam does that but I didn't notice that being an issue.

Every parent eventually worries about their child having a flat head. I’m glad that I purchased this pillow to both support my child’s head and to prevent it from becoming flat. The pillow fits in her bassinets and car seat. The material is very soft, yet breathable. I’m relieved to know it’s hypoallergenic and resistant to bacteria. Also, even though they recommended hand washing, the pillow held up fine and didn’t harden or become deformed as warned when I threw it in the washing machine.

We were instructed by our pediatrician to purchase a pillow for our babys head as she prefers one side to lay on. I was worried about her comfort as she slept using any type of pillow. This pillow is flatter but has a memory type foam for comfort. It offers just enough lift to where there is not all the pressure of laying on one side but my baby also stays comfortable and still has the option to turn her head. It did help our son’s headshape by keeping it from flattening more. He developed a flat spot by 2 months old and the DOC band treatment isn’t administered until 4 months old. The pillow was helpful when his head was on it (he could change positions and come off it during the night). It is machine washable, but it takes a day or so to thoroughly air dry during which time it was too damp to use. We should have purchased 2 to have an alternate.

Only have had this a few days but so far we love it! Baby is 2 months old and we noticed she was getting a bit of a flat spot on one side of her head. We use this pillow during awake time if she is on her back at all and also during daytime naps. She doesn’t seem to mind it at all, & it didn’t mess up her naps. For size reference, we are able to snugly fit it at the top of her dock a tot where she sleeps. We just have to unbuckle the foot area and it’s no problem. I am surprised at how well this pillow actually works. I am in medicine (ENT), and our son's pediatrician noticed that he was starting to get a slight flat spot around 3 months of age. After researching, I purchased this to use on the floor and a different type of pillow to use in the bassinet and car seat. It has now been 1-2 months, and there is a visible difference in the shape of his head. Professionally, I can't even feel a flat spot now. This pillow is excellent while he is flat on his back, not well designed for use in the carseat or a snugabunny.

This pillow came well-packaged, it’s very soft, and seems durable. It turned out just fine after washing with a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. Baby loves to hang out on the pillow and it provides good support. I am not sure if it does help define the shape of a babies head, but so far it does prevent flat head further, or at least on our goddaugther, and I am totally happy with that. This pillow fits well in bassinet, crib and play mat. Will recommend!

I think this pillow could be a little more softer. Also, I think the price you pay for this is too high. This pillow should be no more than $10-$15 especially for the overall quality. However, it gets the job done since my daughter has a flat spot on one side of her head. We keep it in her car seat 24/7 and we think it has reduced the chance of making her head more flat and also keeps her in comfort when on the go. It’s summer currently, so sometimes her head sweats on it even in the air conditioned car. For washing, I place it in with her other clothes with warm/cold water and the sweat stain comes out!

I bought this because my daughter refused to do tummy time and would not shift her head at all, and she also would only sleep in a rock n play for the first several months, so she developed a flat spot. I started putting this under her head when she was on her play mat and any time she later flat during supervised time, and I started to notice the flat spot becoming less noticeable. I’d say that if even you use this for prevention any time baby is flat it is worth the money. A definite must have for us.

The pillow arrived a couple of days ago and we really like it so far. We purchased it because our baby was starting to develop a flat spot on one side of his head and the other side was starting to protrude from always turning his head to the left side when he sleeps. So far this has been a good little pillow. We haven’t gone back to the dr yet so I can’t comment on whether or not this has helped with reshaping my daughter’s head but it doesn’t bother her at all to lay in it. This pillow is amazing! It seriously prevented us from getting a helmet! We had to see a specialist for her head and she had flattening on her back left side and her ears were shifted and not even. They gave me a month to do repositioning etc. then I had to come back and most likely get a helmet! Well I found this pillow and every time she was on her back ( in rock and play, or swing, or play mat) I had her in the pillow! I didn’t let her slee in it but it wasn’t even needed! In one month she had growth to her back, the flattening evened, and her ears were aligned!!!! I was so happy! Now it takes work to make sure your baby isn’t always on their back. I personally think it is a great product and seems very comfortable. However, my baby seems to not care for it - I lay him down on it and within 30 minutes he gets fussy and scoots himself off completely and can then sleep peacefully. So I can't confirm the pillow works but it does seem like a nice and well made product.

I rhink it is adorable! My baby is 7mo. He isn't sitting up independently yet, I was hoping to use this at nap and bed time. However, he is a mover. Even in his sleep. He usually wriggles or rolls off and the pillow ends up above him or off to the side. I os a great idea. I think if maybe it were a bit longer, he couldn't just roll onto his side and push it away as easily. I wish this would work for him, he isn't obviously flattened.... but it is a little. I suppose nature will have to fix it on it's own. This was a great idea and worth a shot!
